Deep Mind is a meditation app concept crafted to empower users with quick access to calm. It offers a deeply contextual and intuitive interface that reacts to emotional states, not just interactions.

The initial concept was cluttered, offering too many entry points and little emotional context. Users were presented with generic lists and overwhelming categories.During my time at an iOS app design company, I worked as a UI/UX designer on multiple mobile products, including a meditation app. I translated client needs into intuitive, visually polished interfaces that aligned with iOS design standards. - Visually dense cards with no hierarchy - No guidance based on user’s current mood - Lack of onboarding or personalization.
BEFORE — WHAT DIDN’T WORK
Meditation apps often feel generic or overwhelming. My goal was to build something that feels like a whisper, not a shout— an interface that gently says: "You’re safe. Let’s begin."
THE CHALLENGE
- +17% CTR on the banner - +11% increase in meditation session starts - 2.4x increase in retention among high-anxiety users.
IMPACT
I designed this app from the ground up — from the first wireframe to the final UI. The turning point was adding space for emotional context. With features like “For challenging times,” the experience shifted from generic to personal — helping users feel seen, not just served. When tech listens to mood, not just action — it becomes human.
